Located in the heart of the historic salons of the Château and opening onto the south terrace overlooking the park, La Table de L'Orangerie, is one Michelin-starred gastronomic restaurant of the Château de Fonscolombe. Parquet flooring, tiling, a grand piano and an 18th-century crystal chandelier showcase the elegant and authentic house style. This magical place with a terrace overlooking the treasures in the gardens with “Historic Monument” status is a private and intimate setting that can host up to 25 guests from Tuesday to Saturday between 7.30pm to 8.30pm.
Taking inspiration from the treasures to be found in the local area, the Chef and his brigade work with the best local producers to offer subtle, refined cuisine in harmony with the seasons.
To further reduce food miles and develop a responsible approach, our 5 star hotel in Provence has recently begun a partnership with Puy-Sainte-Réparade organic farmer Tristan Arlaud to create the chateau’s organic vegetable garden. Chef Marc Fontanne and Tristan Arlaud work together in the garden to “lovingly and respectfully” grow tomatoes, herbs, courgettes, peas, beans and other seasonal delights that have no need to be chilled before reaching diners’ plates as they are guaranteed to be fresh and wonderfully tasty.
